MUNI DAY 2023 - register for sports and event
Just like last year, the university campus in Brno Bohunice will be dedicated to sports and entertainment in mid-May. However, just as the campus itself is growing, this year the traditional Campus Day is also taking on a new dimension, as it will no longer be reserved for campus representatives only, but for the very first time all faculties of Masaryk University will be involved. It only makes sense that this year we will be playing sports and having fun together under the banner of MUNI Day.
We cordially invite you to this year's MUNI Day, which will take place on Thursday, May 11th at the University Campus in Brno-Bohunice. MUNI Day follows the tradition of Campus Day, with the major difference that this year for the first time all faculties will be involved in this event and it will thus take on a truly university-wide dimension. All MU students and employees have the opportunity to actively participate. The Rector's day off has been announced for this day.
The motto is sport, fun, networking. During the morning and the morning, it will be possible to engage in sports activities, whether individual exercises or team tournaments in volleyball and badminton. The programme has also prepared selected departments of the campus faculties, which you will be able to see, including the Simulation Centre of the Faculty of Medicine, where people interested in medicine from all over the world come to visit us. At 14:00 we hope to fill the stands of the ball sports hall at FSpS, where a floorball derby between the staff teams of the Rector's Office and the faculties will take place. Let's recall that last year's match was dominated by the Rectorate with a 6:2 ratio, so the faculties have something to give back and it can be expected that this year the teams will not give anything away either. After the floorball match, we will move to the outdoor areas of the campus, the main action will take place on the area between buildings C10, C12 and C13. There will be refreshments, music and other activities such as ping pong and pétanque for the rest of the afternoon and evening.
You will need to register for each part of the programme at https://muniday.muni.cz/en for further information. Registration will open on Tuesday, April 4, at 12:00 p.m. and is limited to 800 participants, so don't hesitate.
