We Welcomed the Ambassador of Japan on the Premises of FM MU

The Dean, prof. MUDr. Martin Repko, Ph.D. welcomed the ambassador on the faculty’s premises. They discussed the possibility of cooperation in research, addressed the issue of telemedicine, which is already used in practice in Japan, computerisation of healthcare, and modern technologies for diagnostic and medical care.

Together, they attended the international students’ lectures and the ambassador had the opportunity to meet the Japanese students. They briefly discussed their experiences and life in the Czech Republic, cultural differences, and their satisfaction with Masaryk University.

The Dean guided His Excellency through the University Campus, together they looked into several campus buildings, the library and visited also our Simulation Centre. Ambassador Suzuki expressed his admiration for the concept of the centre and its teaching methods.
