Projects and grants AKTION
The AKTION programme offers funding for cooperation between universities from the Czech Republic and Austria.
Supported activities:
- Projects that establish long-term cooperation
- Joint scientific events for students such as seminars or field trips
- Joint bilateral scientific events such as symposia, expert meetings and workshops
- Preparatory phase for double degree programmes
- Research visits for the acquisition of scientific outputs
- Financial support for the publication of outputs from completed projects
- Summer colleges, i.e. summer language courses in Czech and German
- Summer schools in various scientific disciplines
- Academic exchanges for the purpose of carrying out educational activities within the master's and doctoral programmes of the host institution
For all supported activities, priority is given to young scientists (within 10 years of completing their doctoral studies).
Who may apply:
CZ: public universities, AT: public universities, vocational colleges, teacher training colleges, accredited private universities
Target groups:
Students (full-time study), scientific staff (AT) and academic staff (CZ) of eligible institutions in the Czech Republic and Austria.
Budget:
The minimum and maximum budget is not specified in the documentation.
Deadlines for submission of project proposals:
15. 4. 2022, project realization: 1. 7. – 31. 12. 2021
15. 9. 2022 project realization: 15. 10. – 31. 12. 2022
31. 10. 2022 project realization: 1. 1. – 31. 12. 2023
Eligible costs:
- Subsistence, accommodation,
- Travel expenses,
- Teaching fees (salary costs are not covered except for scholarships and teaching fees).
