AZV calls for 2027 launched
The Czech Ministry of Health launched a call for proposals under the Programme for the Support of Applied Health Research for 2027-2030.
From 1st November 2024 to 30 June 2026, the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University will coordinate an international project aimed at creating a standardized simulation course for emergencies in obstetrics and gynecology. The course is designed to improve the knowledge, skills, and teamwork of medical staff, thereby enhancing patient safety. It is intended for training the multidisciplinary team involved in patient care, as well as for teaching specific healthcare professions.
In the second week of November 2024, the kick-off meeting for the international ROUTINE project took place, funded by the Erasmus+ programme and coordinated by MUDr. Emil Havránek from the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics of University Hospital Brno and Faculty of Medicine. The aim of the project is to create an innovative training course for managing acute conditions in gynecology and obstetrics, using high-fidelity simulators at simulation centers. The project brings together four prestigious European partners: University Medical Centre Maribor, Medizinische Universität Wien, Technische Universität Dresden, and Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University.
During the full-day meeting, participants focused on project and financial management, setting the foundation for smooth project execution. In the afternoon, productive discussions and brainstorming sessions helped define the first concrete steps to launch the project. The meeting was conducted in a friendly and cooperative atmosphere, ensuring strong collaboration among all partners.
With this successful start, we are confident that the ROUTINE project will bring significant innovations to training in gynecology and obstetrics.
The project ROUTINE is co-funded by the European Union.
