This September second session of adaptation training for academic staff and staff working on research projects at FM MU academic departments took place – under new title, “Get to know Faculty of Medicine MU”.
In response to feedback to February session, the event was shortened and only people linked to Faculty of Medicine attended as speakers. More than 50 employees joining the faculty in the last year participated the event, altogether with employees who missed the February 2023 session.
Vice-Dean for Research, PhD. Studies and Institutional Development, Faculty of Medicine, started the event providing introduction and welcoming participants. Operational and administrative information about the faculty and the activities of FM MU Dean’s office by Faculty Bursar, Ing. Michal Sellner, followed. Mgr. Tereza Miškechová from Office for Research and Quality presented topics of publications and plagiarism and also open science and data management. Mgr. Bc. Michal Koščík, Ph.D., Vice-Dean for Personnel Affairs, Internal Organisation and Legislation FM MU, introduced protection of rights and responsibility. Ing Karolina Kašparová from Office for Research and Quality at FM MU gave presentation of intellectual property. E-technician, Mgr. Dominika Rebhanová and IS technician Michaela Boďová, presented the topic of study agenda.
The goal of this event was to introduce the key areas and their representatives to participants. In accordance with HR Award Plan and Faculty’s Strategic Plan, the event was organized by Mgr. et Mgr. Markéta Havelková, Training and development manager.
We would like to thank the speakers and participants and we are looking forward to the next session in February 2024.
In 2024, the Czech Science Foundation will support a total of six projects of applicants from FM MU. For two of the supported projects, the faculty is the principal investigator, and for the other four projects it is the co-investigator.
The Internal Grant Agency of the Faculty of Medicine of Masaryk University has announced the results of the Start-up and Accelerate call. A total of 13 projects will be supported.
