Description Arachnoid cyst and hydrocephalus are the most frequently encountered expansions of cerebrospinal fluid space. From traumatological and forensic point of view it is necessary to consider the relatioship between the expansion and traumatic event and the role of cerebrospinal fluid expansion in the development of symptoms after head injury.
