InGA call for 2026 - LF Accelerate
This funding program is designed to assess the application potential of research results and achieve a significant shift towards clinical practice. It applies the principles of the highly successful SPARK Stanford Program.
Eligibility
- The applicant must be an employee of the Faculty of Medicine, Masaryk University (engaged in research), at least 0.5 employment contract under the faculty.
- It is a project of applied research or experimental development according to the Frascati manual definition.
- The project proposal addresses an unmet clinical need and has the potential for application in clinical practice.
- The project will accelerate the subject to the next Technology Readiness Level, TRL.
- Planned activities are not the subject of another project.
Application process
The first internal deadline - September 12th, 2025
- The project proposal draft must be set up electronically via ISEP
- Depending on the nature of the project, an application for assessment by the Ethics Board and any other relevant supporting documents (if required) must be attached to the project proposal draft.
The final deadline for submission of the finalized project proposal for electronic approval via ISEP - October 3rd, 2025
- After the revision of the project proposal draft (and its annexes) by the Grant Office and the Office for Research and Quality, the finalized draft, including all relevant annexes, is submitted in cooperation with the MUNI MED Technology Transfer Manager.
Funding
CZK 1,000,000 per project for up to 2 years.
