This year, 1,403 higher education institutions from 95 countries were ranked in the second edition of the international QS Sustainability Rankings, which assesses the contribution of universities to addressing the challenges of sustainable development. Masaryk University is the best in the Czech Republic.
In terms of indicators, the Knowledge Exchange indicator ranks 87th in the world. The international QS Sustainability Rankings from the Quacquarelli Symonds University Rankings portfolio has been published since last year. For its second edition in 2023, it has undergone some major changes, but in particular it has doubled the number of universities ranked. Masaryk University thus scored a better position in a significantly larger competition. Last year, it reached the 281st-300th position out of 700 ranked.
