| Description | In providing nursing care in surgery, we may encounter problems of intra-abdominal hypertension / abdominal compartment syndrome. In this paper, attention is given to the measurement of intra-abdominal pressure, which helps to diagnose and monitor the effectiveness of therapy, and holds an important role in the balance of the overall prognosis of the patient. Proper technique and adherence to current guidelines reduce the risk of misinterpretation of real values. The authors therefore focus on the most common method of indirect measurement of intraabdominal pressure in the bladder. |
