Description Rosacea is a distinct chronic skin disorder affecting primarily the central areas of the face. The disease has a variety of clinical manifestations that include flushing, persistent erythema, papules and telangiectasia. The National Rosacea Societys Expert Committee on the Classification and Staging of Rosacea identified four subtypes of rosacea: erythematotelangiectatic, papulopustular, phymatous and ocular.
