Description Skin precancerouses are changes, which may lead to formation of malignant skin tumours after shorter or longer time course. They may be obligatory, which transform to tumour regularly and facultative, which lead to tumour only occasionally. Among obligate precancerous include: keratosis actinica, cornu cutaneum, morbus Bowen, erythroplasia Queyrat, morbus Paget and lentigo maligna. The most common non-melanoma skin cancer in Caucasians include basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. The etiopathogenesis of non-melanoma skin tumors suggest a number of known mechanisms, such as UV radiation or immunosupresive treatment. Recently, the role of other factors, in particular viral infection or chronic inflammation is considered. Basocellular carcinoma (BCC) and spinocellular carcinoma (SCC) are most common type of skin carcinomas. SCC usually develops from precancerous conditions like actinic keratosis and morbus Bowen, but it can also occur de novo in areas with chronic inflammatory or scarring processes, based on chronic dermatoses. In contrast with basocellular carcinoma, which rarely produces metastases, SCC can spawn metastases into adjacent lymph nodes and subsequently into more distant organs. Furthermore, the chapter developed tumors of skin appendages, dermal mesenchymal tumors and tumors of neuroectodermal. The therapeutic approach involves topical, surgical and systemic therapy.
