Description | Pemphigus vulgaris is a rare autoimmune blistering disease of the skin and mucous membranes that can be in severe cases without therapy lethal. The first line therapy are systemic corticosteroids, combined with immunosuppressive drugs as mycophenolate mofetil, mycophenolate acid, azathioprine, cyclophosfamide. As second line adjuvants pulse intravenous immunoglobulins and rituximab are used. |
