| Description | The article presents a summary of current findings on magnetic resonance imaging of cartilage including basic and advanced sequences, their advantages and limitations. Magnetic resonance imaging of hyaline cartilage is currently oné of the hot topics. This is due to the increasing number of patients with cartilage lesions because of higher average active age on the one side and on the other side there are new possibilities of treating cartilage defects. An increasing number of different implants can be used for this treatment. |
