| Description | Dimethyl fumarate and fingolimod are effective drugs for the treatment of relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis. Comparing safety and tolerability of both drugs we conclude that dimethyl fumarate requires less extensive safety monitoring and šidě effects are temporarily and treatable. Fingolimod requires more extensive safety monitoring during treatment. Risk of a progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy is very low for both drugs. |
