While there are very good treatment achievements in children, the prognosis of adult patients remains unsatisfactory mainly due to a high incidence of treatment-resistant relapses. There is a great progress in both diagnostics and treatment of this disease in past few years, especially thanks to introducing of new drugs into a daily clinical practise. This summary is focused on news in the treatment of relapsed and refractory adult ALL with highlights on immunotherapy.
