Description Lymphedema refers to tissue swelling caused by an accumulation of protein-rich fluid. It most commonly affects the arms or legs. Malignant lymphedema is an accumulation of interstitial fluid caused by tumour infiltration or compression of lymphatic vessels. Basis of malignant lymphoedema therapy present complex decongestive therapy adapted for palliative care.
