| Description | Reduced inter-beat interval variability represents independent indicator of adverse prognosis in patients after myocardial infarction. The aim of this study was to evaluate association of single nucleotide polymorphism C5266T in gene encoding nNOS with heart period variability in men. We found significant association of C5266T polymorphism in gene encoding nNOS with heart period variability. The presence of allele T represents protective factor against sympathetic overactivity. |
