Description Pathological bone cavities in jaws are connected with the occurence of bone cysts and tumors. In an extensive bone cavity, a postoperative haematoma may, with dehiscence of mucous membrane suture, disintegrate due to inflammation. The bone cacity is then connected with the mouth cavity, which is healing in a complicated way and for a long time.
