| Description | Approximately from 15 to 20 % couples have problems with fertility. In Czech republic, more than 3 % children are born after assisted reproduction techniques. Clomifen citrate is the basic substance for ovarian stimulation. Protocols with follicle stimulation hormone (FSH) and gonadoliberine (GnRH) analogues are used for assisted reproduction techniques (ART). Human chorionic gonadotropine (hCG) is used for eggs maturation. Progesteron is used for endometrium transformation aned luteal phase support. Germinal cells protection against oxidative stress is an important part of supporting treatment. Careful monitoring of ovarian stimulation decreases risk of possible complications. |
