Citation
Description Differences between small molecule crystallography and crystallography of proteins were presented. The first part showed the crystallization process. Second part was inscribed to the instrumentation and the differences by used sources of X-ray, measurment dependence of time and also the enviroment used for the measured crystal. Finally, the last part was devoted to differences in used computational methods. The solution of phase problem for small molecules (Direct methods, Patterson's map) and for the proteins(Molecular replacement, Method of heavy atoms).
