| Description | The study presents a view on the possibility of using Nowotny Hope Scale - NHS in nursing for diagnostic definition of the rate of hope among senior patients with oncologic diseases. The main aim of the thesis was to find out the total rate of hope of respondents according to sex, family status and religion and also to find out the rate of hope of respondents in particular sub-structures. Using inductive statistics (Pearson's chi-squared test) it was confirmed that the rate of hope of seniors with oncological disease depends on religion (p = 0,000), sex (p = 0,003) and family status (p = 0,002). |
