Horizon Europe is the European Commission's new framework programme focused on research and innovation for the period 2021-2027. The Grant Office of Faculty of Medicine MU will help you prepare and administer projects in any of the Horizon Europe grant areas. Horizon Europe offers a number of funding opportunities for international research activities at the Faculty of Medicine MU. We pay special attention to the prestigious European Research Council grants (ERC grants) and the Health Cluster, which in the second pillar, together with the Cancer Mission, specifically focuses on medical and health research.

MSCA – Postdoctoral Fellowships

The goal of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships (in Horizon 2020, Individual Fellowships) is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of researchers holding a PhD, wishing to acquire new skills through advanced training, international, interdisciplinary and inter-sectoral mobility. The scheme supports academic projects but does strongly encourage researchers to include project work in the non-academic sector.

MSCA CALL DATES FOR THE PERIOD 2021 - 2022

The European Commission has announced the expected dates for the MSCA calls for 2021 and 2022. With the new programming period, the individual components of the programme have been renamed: Individual Fellowships have been renamed to Postdoctoral Fellowships, ITN has been renamed to Doctoral Networks and RISE to Staff Exchange.
