Faculty of Medicine has signed the Global Charter in June 2021 and initiated collaboration with Stanford University as an associated member of the SPARK Translational Research Program and SPARK Global network, a partnership of over 60 academic institutions worldwide with a common goal to advance academic biomedical research discoveries closer to clinical practice.
SPARK program was first introduced at the Forum about the news in research and development, the faculty event organized under the auspices of the Vice-Dean for Research, PhD Studies and Institutional Development. SPARK Translational Research Program was created at Stanford University School of Medicine in 2006 to advance academic biomedical research discoveries into promising treatments for patients. The member institutions can take part in educational activities and utilize the unique network of expert advisors.
