| Description | Puberty is a very complex process driven axis hypothalamic – pituitary – ovary. Any variation to this axis may cause malfunction adolescence, which can be in terms of acceleration or delay. For girls precocious puberty, there are signs of adolescence before the 8th year. For lack of signs of delayed puberty adolescence after the 13th year. Their treatment is very important, it requires interdisciplinary collaboration of pediatricians, endocrinologists, gynecologists and depends on its cause. |
