Description Hypertension mediated organ damage and adverse cardiac events are more common in non adherent patients. Serum level of drugs is used as a gold standard in adherence assessment, though there are disadvantages such as lack of sensitivity in long term adherence monitoring. Albuminuria is cheap, reachable and easily repetitive method which could be used for detection of the patients in higher non adherence risk. The aim of the study was to evaluate the correlation between albuminuria and non adherence.
