Description | Method: Man 79 year old, in childhood he had hard corneal acid burn by vitriol in right eye. Opacity and irregular corneal astigmatism resulted. Visual acuity gradually drops from 0, 3 to 0.1 after cataract progression. We did Optical biometry with Pentacam measurement for IOL calculation. Two ports phacoemulsification with foldable intraocular lens implantation were done. Corneal opacities occludes field of operation. Result: VA 0.1 with contact lens 0,5 Conclusion: Close system of Phacoemulsification in corneal scarring is safe surgical procedure. Surgery of this complicated case must be done by high experience surgeon. |
