| Description | The article reports on three yers of experience with incorporating the subject of assessment medicine into undergraduate training of medical students in their final years of study within the syllabus of the oocupational medicine clinics of Medical Faculty of Masaryks University in Brno and the 1st Medical fakulty of Cahrles University in Prague. The article further describes the personel situation in the Czech republic from the point of view of the number of doctors working in the assessment medicine service. The autors consider the possibility of replenishment and alternation of generations in the branch of the assessment medicine service by improving medical students awareness of assessment medicine. The article also discusses broadening the concept of assessment medicine with the issue of undergraduate education as an integral part of a self-contained systém of medical education. |
