| Description | The necessary requirement for safe use of minimally invasive neurosurgical techniques is meticulous presurgical planning using the sophisticated neuroradiological and electrophysiological techniques for surgery extent and aim optimation and minimalisation of complications risk. Meticulous presurgical planning aiming to identify the eloquent neural and vascular structures in the proximity of surgical trajectory is stressed. Possible complications of stereotactic functional and non functional surgeries are presented together with treatment possibilities. |
