Description Renal cell carcinoma is one of the most often cancers of kidney. It was proved that the key moment in this type of cancer is epithelial-mesenchymal transition. Similarly, several microRNAs with deregulated expression in renal cell carcinoma were found to be associated with this process. The aim of this study was to identify microRNAs associated with epithelial-mesenchymal transition as potential markers for prediction and early detection of metastasis in patients with renal cell carcinboma.
