| Description | Dopamin plays the key role in sexual desire. Antidepressant moclobemide in-creases dopamine level in brain. Aim: The aim of this retrospective study was to find effectivity of moclobemide treatment hypoactive sexual desire and erectile dysfunction and to compare male and female results in the treatment. Sample: 16 males and 15 females were treated with moclobemide. Results: Full effect was found in 10 females, partial improvement was in 10 males, while PDE-5 inhibitors had to doně. Statistical significant difference between males and females was found (p = 0.00001, Pearsons test). Conclusion: Moclobemide seeems good treatment of female hypoactive sexual desire. |
