Description Introduction: Flat foot in adults is characterised as the loss of normal medial foot column arrangement. A radiographic technique, useful in the initial assessment and pre-operative planning has been described in literature - the reverse Coleman block test. This test corrects the valgus deformity of the heel, if it is not rigid, by placing a block of appropriate height under the first metatarsal head. The purpose of our study was to verify hypothesis, that this test is more sensitive to reveal the medial column insufficiency than the conventional lateral weight bearing radiograph.
