| Description | Retina examination by direct ophthalmoscopy belongs among special investigative techniques. Simulating set EyesiDirect, which consist from test head, direct ophthalmoscope and pc enable students to adopt skill which needs to recognize normal and pathology findings. From more common diagnosis there is possible to move to the more complex cases, discuss differential diagnosis, make appropriate therapeutic plan and determine method of treatment. From the biginning autumn semester 2014 we learn 2 groups of medical students by this simulator. The 100% of student was able to recognize basic pathology of retina and make adjustment of ophthalmoscope. The simulator eyesiDirect was a very useful apparatur and it moved training of direct ophthalmoscopy from laboratory to praxis. |
