Description The article is an answer to the reaction of Josef Šmajs. In it, the author explains his conviction why the bulk of a Šmajs´ work still bears the early modern burden. On the basis of an analysis of concepts typical of evolutionary ontology (EO) - socio-cultural information, structural information, ethnic languages, general theory, theory of a lower level, diffused immaterial [duchovní] culture, memory opened to information changes and so on, the author shows that EO is internally inconsistent and this inconsistency reside in its main dogma. Next he turns attention of the readers to dynamic system theories and points out resemblances and diferences between them and EO and highlights these differences that overcome above mentioned inconsistency.
