Description Patients with stoma have different anatomical conditions in the intestine and must follow certain dietary rules. Milk, dairy products, legumes, fruits and vegetables can be worse tolerated for them, but for contributing of their regular consumption for the body are recommended. The authors compared the consumption of these foods in patients with a stoma and a control group of healthy people. Specially constructed questionaire about dietary habits and 24 – hours recall were used for data collecting. Results: The consumption of milk, dairy products and fruits, vegetables was higher in a patients with stoma, presence of legumes in the diet was higher in the control group.
