| Description | This article aims to provide reader with practical guidelines of how to comply with certain privacy and data protection rules (from the perspective of Slovak national legislation) when operating repository of grey literature. The article focuses predominantly on managing requests to remove documents which contain personal information that is valuable from the perspective of repository operator but rather sensitive from the perspective of the person to whom the information relates to. The article gives general overview on privacy law and recent case of court of justice of the EU, practical advice on how to prepare an institutional privacy policy and how to act in case the operator receives the request to remove certain document. |
