Description This case report illustrates a very good efficiency of accelerated radiotherapy for non-small cell lung cancer. Two radiotherapy schemes were used. Accelerated radiotherapy (VMAT, SIB) for irradiation of primary tumour and mediastinal lymfadenopathy (dose 20x 2,15Gy / 3,0Gy) and stereotactic body radiotherapy (dose 8x 5,5Gy) for two lung metastases. Despite extensive tumour burden, radiotherapy may provide an excellent local control of the disease for a long time without any deterioration of the quality of life.
