Description The cardiovascular system is important in the development and generalization of sepsis two reasons. Delayed resuscitation hemodynamics in the first hours of septic shock causes oxygen deficit in tissues with starting hyper inflammatory nonspecific reactions and significant increase in morbidity / mortality. And it is the CV system, which further contributes to the generalization response due to interactions of cells forming the component (endothelium, vascular smooth muscle), and the blood that distributes in the body. This interaction occurs mainly in the microcirculation, which becomes the engine of the MODS.
