Description The aim of this study was to identify habits at inpatient health care facilities in providing patients with nutrition in the form of sipping. A quantitative method was used through an anonymous original questionnaire. The group of respondents consisted of 112 general nurses from 23 hospitals in the Czech Republic. The results showed that there are no basic criteria for indication, administration of oral nutritional supplements in inpatient health care facilities, although it is necessary to control their nutritional status in patients at risk.
