| Description | The European network VACCELERATE is still calling for volunteers to participate in clinical trials, not only focused on vaccines. "Become the missing piece of the puzzle. Together we can deal with the COVID-19 pandemic.” That is the slogan for the volunteer register, which is now close to 50,000 registered people. VACCELERATE project (European Corona Vaccine Trial Accelerator Platform), in which Masaryk University is a partner through its research infrastructure CZECRIN, has existed since the spring of 2021. It deals with implementing phase II and III vaccination studies against COVID-19 and other infectious diseases. Representatives for the Czech Republic are prof. MD Petr Husa, CSc. (priority of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Brno FN and MU Faculty of Medicine) and doc. MD Regina Demlová, Ph.D. (head of the Institute of Pharmacology of the Faculty of Medicine of the MU and the principal researcher of the CZECRIN project). |
