Description Pyoderma gangraenosum is a re_latively rare disease of unknown etiology, first described more than 100 years ago. It is necessary to think about it in sudden, painful and non-healing ulcers, most often on legs. A lot of patients have systemic di_seases (Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, arthritis, malignancies). The treatment is empirical. Treatment can be divided into four categories: topical treatment, systemic non-immunosuppressive therapy, syste_mic immunosuppressive therapy and biological therapy. Ulcers heal with cribriform scars. The course is difficult to predict, often recurrent, depending on the type and severity of comorbidities.
