Description The article focuses on the neuropsychological evaluation of selected cognitive functions in patients with diffuse low-grade gliomas (DLGG) who underwent awake craniotomy (surgery performed on the patient while conscious and alert). This surgical approach requires the patient's commitment and the cooperation of an interprofessional team. The most important benefit is that it allows the patient's cognitive functions to be monitored.
