| Description | At the time of diagnosis, chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) may rarely manifest itself with priapism. Therapy of this condition might be challenging, as it requires multidisciplinary approach at the time of diagnosis as well as later, during effective hemato-oncological treatment, when it can be recurrent due to different pathophysiological mechanisms. This clinical case report demonstrates initial management of veno-occlusive priapism, ongoing therapy and its complications in otherwise rather non-complicated CML patient. |
