| Description | The effect of 10nM haloperidol in left auricle and right ventricle papillary muscle of adult male guinea pig hearts was investigated. The amplitudes of stimulated twitches and mechanical restitution were measured in these multicellular preparations. This study confirmed positive inotropic effect of haloperidol previously described in rat hearts. Mechanical restitution was not affected. |
