| Description | In the majority of health care systems the offer to citizens as regards information on the quality of offered health care is one of the important priorities of the health policy. The submitted paper deals with the problem according to which criteria citizens select a hospital. The authors selected by quota selection a representative sample of 400 respondents from Brno. The questionnaire submitted to respondentswas focused on detection of information citizens require for selection of a hospital, and what type of information is available. The results indicate that there are controversies between the information requested by citizens and that available to them. |
