Description The report deals with medico-anthropological research of osseous remains found in the course of archaeological investigations in St. Peter and Pauls Cathedral in the town of Brno within 1991 and 1992. By their dating, the graves belong to various phases of building the church, beginning with Roman period from the 12th century and ending with the 18th century. The graves were revealed both in the interior of each sanctuary and in a part of outer churchyard. Nearly all the graves were rather damaged because a relatively small area was used for burials for the peirod of nearly five centuries Besides the basic demographic analysis, morphoscopic and metric signs there were evaluated pathological manifestations of diseases in bones (traumas, inflammatory changes, tumors, metabolic, endocrine and congenital disorders).
