Description The authors have used CLS expansion shell in 52 patient in the years 1992-1999 . The mean follow up was 7,5 years. They used CLS shell in revision hip surgery with Paprosky defects type 1, type 2A, type 2B a type 2C. They have achieved full osteointegration in 43 cases. There were radiolucent lines in 7 hips. 2 shells have failed. Harris hip score has improved from 52 to 84 points at the average.
