Description The authors have used small cementless threaded Ultima socket in 11 patients (12 hips) with DDH situation in the years 1996-2001. The mean age was 48 yeas. There were Crowe type I 4 cases, type II 2 cases, type III 3 cases and type IV 3 cases. The mean follow up was 3,8 years. All Ultima socket have osteointegrated in all. There weere no complications. The mean Harris hip score has improved from 39 to 78 points at the average. The authors have achieved ideal hip centre in 6 cases.
