| Description | Expression of both p53 and p21 was immunohistochemically revealed in 14,3 % of malignant melanomas of uvea. Based on the results, the stabilizing mutations of p53 are rare in the melanomas of uvea and the found expression of p53 seems to be a result of wild-type p53 expression because of the ability to induce the expression of p21. |
