| Description | Possibilities of CYP2D6 phenotype and genotype determination in psychiatric patients were discussed. Then, the the influence of phenotype of CYP2D6 on clinical response was evaluated (patients with anxiety disorder on paroxetine treatment; n=16). Influence of phenotype on the adverse effects occurence was evaluated as well (including sexual dysfunctions) in the long term paroxetine treatment(patients treated with paroxetine for more than 3 months; n=50). |
