Description The aim of the study was to find out the occurrence of alternative nutrition among university students in Brno by the questionnaires. In this study are mentioned students motives and atttitudes to alternative nutrition. An important part of this study was comparing eating habits of the alternative consumed students and the students who consumed conventional mixed meals. These results showed, that the occurrence of alternative nutrition among university students in Brno was 16,1 % and the most frequently represented alternative nutrition trend was vegetarianism (3,5 %).
